Welcome to the Garden, where the Boston Celtics (27-11) will take on the Dallas Mavericks (26-14) at 8 p.m. (note the late start time).

The Bruins just cleared out of here, and the Bull Gang is frantically working to convert TD Garden into a basketball arena. The seating isn't complete yet, but the parquet is down, allowing Marquis Daniels and Tyronn Lue to play a little knockout. That Daniels is shooting is a positive sign. He's still not expected back until after the All-Star Game, however.

We should see the return of Rasheed Wallace tonight, which will be welcome with Dirk Nowitzki in town. If Wallace starts he should match up on Dirk, which will be worth the price of admission.

Another good reason to come to tonight's game? Sunday parking rules in effect on the holiday, so find that special parking meter, don't put a dime into it, and avoid paying 30 bucks to park in a lot.

One final good reason to come to tonight's game is to donate to UNICEF's relief fund for Haiti. Your donation at tonight's game will be matched by the Celtics Shamrock Foundation.

Back with more in a bit.
