More than enough people have stoked the flames on the sort of silly argument over who’s the real Superman, Shaquille O’Neal or Dwight Howard (or, in fact, Clark Kent). But when asked whether it’s the same task guarding the two big men, Kendrick Perkins, who’s got a level of respect for both of them, added his first-hand experience to the discussion.

"Shaq is more physical. Dwight is physical, but Shaq is more physical as far as just like throwing elbows. With Shaq, you might come out a game, you might be hurt a little bit, you know what I’m saying ...  I just hope I don't come out with a broken nose or something like that. But other than that I don't do nothing different. If it happens, it happens. I'm going to just play him the same and try to play him physical."

One thing worth noting: the guy Cleveland's roster that completely annoys Perkins is Anderson Varejao. "He's a pain in the neck. Always active, offensive rebounding, doing the little things. And he plays good defense, pick and roll and on the box." No capes necessary.
