Boston takes the Notre Dame strongman with the 52nd overall pick and he has the skills to make this team, although he measured short of 6-8 in the NBA combine.

Here's what the ESPN NBA evaluators say about the 6-7, 240 pounder:

•Not an elite athlete
•Below-average lateral quickness
•Lacks ideal size for his position

Sounds to me like a perfect Celtic. In the Big East, he dominated the paint and the Celtics need ballplayers, not guys who look great in personal workouts but can't compete against bigger guys. It won't take long before he becomes a fan favorite and is doing commercials for a local hardware store.

Notre Dame statistics:
2009-10 30 games 21.8 ppg 9.1 rpg 1.6 apg
2008-09 34 games 23.3 ppg 11.8 rpg 2.1 apg
2007-08 33 games 20.4 ppg 10.6 rpg 1.7 apg
2006-07 32 games 11.2 ppg 6.2 rpg 1.2 apg
