A few telling stats on Finals history and where we stand heading into Game 7 Thursday night (thank you to the Lakers PR department):

-- Thursday's game will be the 17th Game 7 in NBA Finals history. The home team is 13-3 all-time in those games. The last road team to win a Finals Game 7 was the Washington Bullets, who went to Seattle and beat the Sonics on June 7, 1978.

-- Of the previous 25 times the NBA Finals were tied 2-2, the winner of Game 5 has gone on to win the series 19 times.

-- The Celtics' 67 points marks their lowest ever point total in a Finals game. Their previous low was 81 points during Game 3 of the 2008 Finals.

-- Phil Jackson's 224th career playoff win moves him ahead of former former Detroit Red Wings coach Scotty Bowman for the most postseason wins for any coach in the four major North American team sports.
