finley.JPGThe Celtics brought Micahel Finley in late last season for his shooting ability and his championship experience. Whether they'll bring him back is another matter.

“He’s keeping his options open," said Finley's agent Henry Thomas. "Boston is definitely one of them.”

Finley came to the Celtics with about a month left in the season after seeing his role diminish in San Antonio. He played 25 games for the Spurs asking for a buy out to join a team where he could be a contributor.

The 37-year-old shooting guard played 21 games for the Celtics last season, and his touch from the 3-point line was still sharp (19 of 41). He played fewer games (46) and minutes (15.4) than he had in any of his 15 seasons.

He played 18 playoff game but couldn't find his shot, going 5 of 20 from the floor and 3 of 11 from long distance.

Celtics president Danny Ainge said today that he was looking to make one or two more moves for a backup big man and a shooter.
