Final: The Sixers hand the Celtics their first preseason loss, using their second unit to outscore a mash-up of the Celtics' second and third units 32-22 in the fourth quarter. The team mascot and hypeman each fired ticker-tape guns in celebration of their first preseason win.

Third quarter, 5:46, Celtics 60, Sixers 49: Doug Collins earned himself a tech for yelling at Joey Crawford. Von Wafer shot (and made) the free throw. Meanwhile, Nate Robinson having a ball: 5 of 9 from the floor, 3 of 5 from 3-point range, 5 of 5 from the stripe. Jermaine O'Neal was hit with one the next trip down the floor, apparently saying some not-so-nice words after a block/charge call didn't go his way.

Second quarter, 3:20, Celtiscs 43, Sixers 40:Luke Harangody knocked down his first three shots, he also grabbed a couple boards and dished out an assist.

First quarter, 1:38, Sixers 22, Celtics 18Avery Bradley just stepped on the floor for the first time as a Celtic.

First quarter, 3:20, Celtics 16, Sixers 16: Jermaine O'Neal is 0 for 4. Doc Rivers says pretty emphatically that he doesn't care about JO's offense, but ...

First quarter, 5:47, Sixers 12, Celtics 11: In order to give his starters a blow with back-to-back games tonight and tomorrow, Doc Rivers rolled out an admittedly strange starting lineup of Marquis Daniels, Nate Robinson, Von Wafer, Glen Davis and Jermaine O'Neal. O'Neal should see no more than 20 minutes. Also, rookie guard Avery Bradley should see his first action of the season.
