Rivers: 'We'll handle it'

Doc Rivers had little to say about today's altercation between Celtics guards Von Wafer and Delonte West.

"There was a fight," said Rivers. "And that's all you need to know. I'm going to leave it alone. Obviously I'm not real thrilled with it, but it happened. We'll handle it."

Rivers balked at questions concerning the role of either player moving forward. He said that these fights do happen, and that while he had hoped something like this would stay in house, it was OK that it had not.

Asked whether the fight could impact the team going forward, Rivers replied, "It could. I doubt it. I hope not, but you never know. I hope it does not."
