Celtics coach Doc Rivers will have 12 healthy players from which to choose tonight against Chicago because the league allowed Boston to move Delonte West to the suspended list to serve the final five games of his suspension, an NBA spokesman confirmed.

For the first five games, West was placed on the active list, meaning Rivers had only 11 players at his disposal. But the league allows teams to move players to a suspended list following the fifth game of a suspension.

The Celtics will have West on the suspended list, two players on the inactive list and 12 on the active list.

With Kendrick Perkins out until at least January following ACL surgery, Rivers can activate Luke Harangody or Avery Bradley, Harangody made his NBA debut Tuesday against Detroit. Bradley has been out most of training camp and preseason because of left ankle surgery.

Both could be activated if Shaquille O'Neal is unable to play tonight with a bone bruise in his right knee.
