Celtics coach Doc Rivers wouldn't entirely commit to Rajon Rondo starting at point guard tonight against Toronto before the game. But Rondo was in the lineup and scored a layup at the 9:26 mark of the first quarter.

"I think he's in, I'm not sure yet," Rivers said before the game. "He's been cleared 100 percent. He's passed every test. The only thing I gave (trainer) Eddie (Lacerte) and Rondo is he had to be 100 percent. No close. And he is. But I told him most likely but I really haven't made up my mind yet. I can always change my mind."

Rondo participated at the team's shootaround and Rivers came away impressed, unlike Wednesday when Rondo was unable to go 100 percent.

"You don't really know until you go full speed," Rondo said at today shootaround. "And I haven't gone full speed until I played last Friday. I can run up-and-down sprints all day long but until you shift gears in a game-like situation, like a loose ball and you have to go full speed and get it. It's different."
