Double Vision: His 20-and-17 double-double against the Bulls gave Kevin Garnett nine double-doubles for the season. He had 10 all of last season.

Block party: Shaquille O'Neal needs one more block to give him 2,700 for his career. He's seventh on the all-time list, with Patrick Ewing (2,894) in sixth.

Where in the world is Jermaine O’Neal: He's been out since Nov. 8 dealing with swelling in his knees, but made the trip to New Jersey. He’s been in the practice facility the past week doing individual workouts. Rivers said O’Neal would begin working out this coming week.

D-League sightings: Nets swingman Terrence Williams, who’s now in the D-League with the Springfield Armor, was at the TD Garden Friday night, seen with Rasheed Wallace, who busted up Tom Thibodeau’s postgame press conference. Former Villanova star Scottie Reynolds was also in the building.
