The NBA just announced that defending three-point champion Paul Pierce will have some stiff competition at the All-Star Game in Los Angeles.

Player Made Attempted Percentage
Ray Allen 115 249 .462
Kevin Durant 85 245 .347
Daniel Gibson 79 180 .439
James Jones 91 213 .427
Paul Pierce 73 182 .401
Dorell Wright 124 303 .409
Teammate Ray Allen, who is on the verge of breaking Reggie Miller's all-time three-point field goals record, will participate in the contest.

This move breaks with league tradition of having players from the same team in the contest.

Pierce, the defending three-point shooting champion, will have his work cut out retaining his crown.

Also in the competition are Thunder forward Kevin Durant, who won last year's H-O-R-S-E competition by outshooting Rajon Rondo from 3, along with Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson, Heat forward James Jones and Warriors forward Dorell Wright.
