Welcome to TD Garden, where the Boston Celtics will take on the Los Angeles Lakers at 8 p.m. (note the late start time for national television).

There may be buzz around the building in anticipation of Ray Allen possibly breaking the NBA's all-time 3-point record tonight, but the man of the hour won't hear any of it. Allen has already come and gone from the parquet, finishing his pregame shooting and running off the court at 4:47 p.m. The building was relatively empty at that point, meaning that Allen will be secluded while the media horde and fans in No. 20 jerseys file in.

Allen is the big story tonight, but story 1A is that the Lakers are in the building (you could even argue that order and you wouldn't be wrong). One Lakers jersey spotted in North Station on the way into the arena to about 40 Celtics jerseys. The fans are geeked up for this one.

We'll give you as much information as we can before, during, and after the game. Stay tuned.
