Jermaine O'Neal will play tonight against the Spurs. He and coach Doc Rivers haven't discussed minutes.

O'Neal said:

He hasn't talked to me yet, so I don't know what the plan is. Considering it's a back-to-back, I don't know if he'll play me that much to be honest, but we'll see how it goes. I think I was in this position before where I came back and played extended minutes because I felt good. It's about competing, it's about winning. You can be tired when you get back to the hotel, when you get on the bus, when you get on the plane. If I can play, I'd rather play. If I can play extended pretty minutes, I'd rather play extended pretty minutes.
