MIAMI -- Dwyane Wade decided to ask the collection of media after the team's shootaround Tuesday a question because it's obviously been on his mind since Celtics coach Doc Rivers' Game 1 comments on the physical play.

"Can somebody give me the definition of chippiness?" he asked, referring to Rivers comments that the Heat were 'chippy' not physical. "Does anybody know what the definition is? I don't know what that means. Can y'all look that up? I know Doc didn't learn that at Marquette."

That was a statement in reaction to Rivers joking that Wade was the "second greatest player ever to come out of Marquette." When a reporter said chippy means going a little overboard on being physical, Wade said: "So the definition of chippiness is playoffs?"
