Welcome to Lavietes Pavilion, basketball home of the Harvard Crimson, for what may be the only professional basketball we see in the Boston area for some time.

They're terming this the Boston Charity Classic, and proceeds from tonight's game will aid local Boston charities in providing meals for the holiday season (the three charities are SPIN, Sojourner House, and the Crossroads Family Shelter). They should raise plenty of money -- there's a line of green-and-white clad NBA fans snaked around the building and up past Harvard Stadium. No sign of any players yet.
