ESPN is reporting that the Los Angeles Lakers are willing to trade anyone except Kobe Bryant in a bid to acquire Magic center Dwight Howard and Hornets point guard Chris Paul.

The Lakers certainly have bargaining chips in trade talks in the form of Andrew Bynum, Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol.

Paul has made it clear he'd like to join Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire on the New York Knicks, but ESPN's Chris Broussard reports that Paul and Howard have also discussed teaming up somewhere else.

"The Lakers are interested in trying to do something for both (Paul and Howard)," a Western Conference executive told Broussard. "I would hate to see it happen."
