Final score, Pistons 98-88: Rajon Rondo scored a career-high 35 points, but the Celtics were unable to stop a strong second-half Pistons rally. Rodney Stuckey scored 25 points and Ben Gordon added 22 points for Detroit.

Fourth quarter, 3:27, Pistons 93-83: The Celtics' offense continued to stagnate. Rajon Rondo scored his 32d point, but missed the second of two free throws, giving Detroit possession after a timeout.
