Final score, Celtics, 86-83: Ray Allen scored 22 points, including two clinching foul shots with 2.4 seconds remaining as the Celtics broke a five-game losing streak. Anthony Parker missed a 3-pointer with a chance to tie the score at the buzzer.

Fourth quarter, 0:3.39, Celtics, 84-81: Kevin Garnett hit two foul shots after drawing a foul after rebounding his own miss. Kyrie Irving went to the line with two shots with 3.5 on the clock.

Fourth quarter, 0:35.3, Celtics, 82-81: Ray Allen's dunk off a Kevin Garnett steal gave the Celtics the lead with 49 seconds remaining. The Cavaliers then appeared to lose possession, but a replay allowed them to keep possession with 10 seconds on the shot clock.

Fourth quarter, 2:38, Tied, 78-78: Paul Pierce's 3-pointer with :03 on the shot clock gave the Celtics the lead with 3:20 to go. But Kyrie Irving tied the score with a tipin with 2:52 to play.

Fourth quarter, 8:23, Tied, 70-70: Avery Bradley continued to direct the Celtics' offense. Chris Wilcox gave the Celtics a 68-66 lead with a dunk off a Keyon Dooling lob pass.

End of third quarter, Cavaliers, 66-64 : Kyrie Irving went for 13 points and the Celtics' Rajon Rondo went scoreless with one assist in the quarter. After making his first five shots, Brandon Bass missed six in succession in the quarter.

Third quarter, 2:36, Tied, 60-60: Avery Bradley rallied the Celtics from a five-point deficit with a left-hand drive and assist on a Mikael Pietrus 3-pointer.

Third quarter, 5:30, Cavaliers 53-51 : A Tristan Thompson dunk with 6:18 remaining in the quarter gave Cleveland the lead for the first time since the opening minutes.

End of first half, Celtics 43-38: After a strong first quarter (12 for 20 field goal shooting), the Celtics faltered. But the Celtics held onto the lead, having limited Kyrie Irving to five points and three assists in 10 minutes of playing time.

Second quarter, 1:35, Celtics 43-36: Kyrie Irving (right elbow contusion) returned to the Cavalier bench and was declared available to return to action.

Second quarter, 3:41, Celtics 39-32: Cleveland guard Kyrie Irving drew a charge from Paul Pierce, then went to the lockerroom holding his right arm.

Second quarter, 5:44, Celtics 37-30: Brandon Bass' fifth successive jumper with 5:54 remaining in the half broke up an eight-point Cavalier run.

Second quarter, 7:25, Celtics 35-26: After Rajon Rondo went to the bench, the Celtics struggled to get into an offensive rhythm. The Cavaliers' second unit, sparked by guards Daniel Gibson and Ramon Sessions, rallied with an 8-2 run over a 2:10 span.

End of first quarter, Celtics 28-15: The Celtics took control with a 17-2 run over a 3:55 span. Kyrie Irving scored on a drive 26 seconds into the contest, then was blanked for the rest of the quarter.

First quarter, 4:26, Celtics 22-10: The Celtics scored on three successive possessions, extending an 11-0 run over a 3:27 span, Cavalier coach Byron Scott calling a 20-second timeout.

First quarter, 5:42, Celtics 16-10: Ray Allen went 3 for 3 from the field (two 3-pointers) in the opening 6:03. Brandon Bass converted a jumper, his first field goal attempt since Feb. 10.
