The Celtics are getting healthier by the day and Keyon Dooling, who has missed most of the past month with a sore knee and hip pointer said he will attempt to return Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Dooling has missed 13 of the team's past 14 games and will not play tonight against the Charlotte Bobcats.

"When you have an area that's injured sudden movements (are difficult) but I'm feeling better," he said. "It's been frustrating. I've had two impact injuries. I can't control them, but what I can control is when I come back, how prepared I am. I haven't been able to do a lot of movement but I have been shooting."

Also, forward Brandon Bass did participate in shootaround and is expected to play tonight vs. the Charlotte Bobcats. Marquis Daniels did not participate and is expected to miss tonight's game with a sprained ankle.
