Paul Pierce was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week today, averaging 22 points, 6.3 assists and 5.8 rebounds in four games, a testament to his returning to form. The Celtics were 4-0 this week and have won eight of nine games. Pierce is 10 points from eclipsing Larry Bird for second on the Celtics' all-time scoring list.
