Rob Gronkowski kept his shirt on at tonight's Celtics-Lakers game, appearing on the Jumbotron during the first half along with Patriots teammates Vince Wilfork, Julian Edelman, and Tiquan Underwood. Team owner Robert Kraft was also in attendance.
The Patriots got a deserved standing ovation from the TD Garden crowd, a crowd that was appreciative of the team's Super Bowl run despite the loss.
After the game, Lakers guard Kobe Bryant said he hollered at Gronkowski from the court during the game.
"I told him the Eagles need a tight end," said Bryant. "I’m recruiting! He’s a freak athlete. He shouted at me, I shouted back."
No word on whether the Patriots made Underwood leave the game at halftime.
