OK folks, as you mentally prepare for the Big Game, the Celtics provide a little distraction with a noontime game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Celtics, as usual, will be shorthanded with Brandon Bass (sore right knee) out today. Celtics coach Doc Rivers said it is just a byproduct of soreness and not a particular injury. He said the knee needs to calm down.

Jermaine O'Neal had an MRI on his left knee, would not reveal the results to reporters but said he's playing. So the results must not be that damaging.

Memphis has won the past two times at TD Garden and after a slow start the Grizzlies have responded after losing Zach Randolph to a knee injury. He is expected back in March.

SF Rudy Gay
PF Marreese Speights
C Marc Gasol
