ATLANTA -- The Celtics took Sunday off before working out at Georgia Tech Monday morning in preparation for tonight's game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Here are some nuggets from shootaround:

*Coach Doc Rivers said the team is "close" on signing a couple of free-agent centers but nothing is imminent

*Greg Stiemsma sore right foot is getting worse and he did not participate in shootaround, wearing a protective boot. But he will play tonight against Atlanta

*Paul Pierce said the team looked at film of Saturday's loss to the Denver Nuggets and noticed their lack of effort with rebounding. He said those issues were addressed
