Big Three out tonight vs. Charlotte
CHARLOTTE -- The Celtics will have an extremely short bench tonight as Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett remained in New York to join Ray Allen on the unavailable list for the 6 p.m. game against the Charlotte Bobcats.
Pierce jammed his left big toe in Saturday's win over the New Jersey Nets and said he would discuss rest with coach Doc Rivers. Garnett has been grinding since the All-Star Break and Rivers wanted to give his center a break before Tuesday's game with the New York Knicks.
So the starting five will be Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley, Mickael Pietrus, Brandon Bass, and Greg Stiemsma against the 7-51 Bobcats.
