The Celtics and Hawks will start their first-round playoff series Sunday, the NBA has announced.

The Celtics are locked into the No. 4 seed and the Hawks are locked into the No. 5 seed, but home court will be decided by best record. The Hawks currently have a one-game lead on the Celtics. An Atlanta loss vs. Dallas and a Celtics win vs. Milwaukee would leave the teams with identical records. Since the Celtics hold the tiebreaker, they would get home court advantage. If Atlanta wins or if the Celtics lose, the Hawks get home court.
