Welcome to United Center; Derrick Rose out, Bradley starting
CHICAGO -- The Celtics will face a different Bulls team than they perhaps expected as Derrick Rose was ruled out for tonight's game with a strained right groin. Rose has missed the past 12 games and 22 overall with injuries, and the Celtics are 1-1 against the Bulls without Rose.
Meanwhile, Celtics coach Doc Rivers dropped this nugget of good news for Mickael Pietrus, who may begin his concussion testing today. Pietrus has a Grade 3 concussion but was able to watch Wednesday's game without the shades and a towel over his head that he wore Sunday against the Miami Heat.
Ray Allen made out of his first game back Wednesday healthy but Doc Rivers opted to start Avery Bradley, who will face off against UConn counterpart Richard Hamilton.
