WALTHAM -- The Celtics were through their usual shootaround in preparation for tonight's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference first round against the Atlanta Hawks. And Ray Allen participated through the entire session and is considered a game-time decision after missing the past 11 games with bone spurs in his right ankle.

Allen also made it through the team's entire practice Thursday, offering hope that he can return to the lineup.

Meanwhile, SportsSouth's Andre Aldridge reported that Atlanta's Josh Smith will determine whether he will play tonight when he goes through his pre-game workout. He left Game 2 with 4:20 left with a strained tendon in his left knee.
