MIAMI -- Heat coach Erik Spoelstra speaks like a football coach, but he didn't pull any Belichickian surprises right before Game 1. Heat forward Chris Bosh is still out indefinitely with an abdominal strain.
Bosh did "a little bit more" Monday, according to Spoelstra, but he didn't work out on the court.
"Look, we're all very pleased with the progress he's been making, considering when you saw him on the court and when he was walking off," said Spoelstra. "Obviously you think the worst at the time. But he's still out indefinitely."
-- Rajon Rondo can now stake claim to being called a maestro in social situations, as Spoelstra continued to heap praise on the Celtics point guard before Game 1 Monday night.
"Rondo is a basketball maestro," said Spoelstra. "He really is. He's one of the most unique players I've seen in this league in all my years. What's part of his greatness is his utter unpredictability. And you don't know where he's going to come up with that great play. One thing you do know is he has great timing. He knows the moment. He knows what his team needs in that moment. And it could be anything. Often times you don't see the same thing game to game."
