Greetings and salutations, faithful Internet traveler, from TD Garden, where the Celtics and Sacramento Kings are scheduled to throw down, basketball style, on Wednesday night.

It should be an interesting affair. The Celtics are adjusting to life post-Rajon Rondo, learning Sunday that the All-Star point guard will be out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee. How will the Celtics adjust? Well, they won without him Sunday against Miami, and we'll see if they'll be able to pull off a trick like that again.

STARTING LINEUPS
BOSTON CELTICS (21-23)

PG Avery Bradley
SG Courtney Lee
SF Paul Pierce
PF Jared Sullinger
C Kevin Garnett

SACRAMENTO KINGS (17-29)
PG Isaiah Thomas
SG Tyreke Evans
SF John Salmons
PF Jason Thompson
C DeMarcus Cousins

TV/Radio: CSN, WEEI (93.7)

Pregame notes:

  • This is the second of two meetings; the Kings won the first, 118-96, in December in Sacramento.

  • Sacramento has the worst scoring defense in the NBA, allowing 103.2 points a game.

  • Before beating the Wizards on Monday, the Kings had been averaging 21 turnovers in their previous three games.
