For some perspective on this year, here are the trade deadline deals the Celtics have made recently:

2012: No trades.

2011: Celtics trade Marquis Daniels to Sacramento; Celtics trade Semih Erden and Luke Harangody to Cleveland; Celtics trade Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson to Oklahoma City for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic.

2010: Celtics send J.R. Giddens, Bill Walker, and Eddie House to the Knicks for Marcus Landry and Nate Robinson.

2009: Celtics trade Patrick O'Bryant to the Raptors.

2008: No trades.

The last big deadline move was clearly the Perkins-for-Green trade. During the summer of 2007, the Celtics sent Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, Al Jefferson, Theo Ratliff, and Sebastian Telfair to the Timberwolves for Kevin Garnett. They sent Wally Sczcerbiak and Delonte West to Seattle in exchange for Ray Allen and the rights to Glen Davis on draft night in 2007.
