Second quarter, 2:55, Bulls 32-30: It's an ugly game for the Celtics, who are 2-for-15 shooting in the quarter and have dipped to 30.6 percent after a sparkling first quarter. The Bulls are at 45.2 percent but have committed 10 turnovers. The combination of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Avery Bradley are 5-for-19 shooting. The bench is combined 1 of 6.

Second quarter, 5:43, Celtics 30-27: The Bulls are playing tighter defense and the Celtics are 2-for-10 shooting in the quarter and are shooting 35.5 percent, still they lead. The Bulls are 12-for-27 shooting but have eight turnovers. Carlos Boozer has 7 points for Chicago while Marco Bellinelli has 5. Avery Bradley leads the Celtics with 8.

Second quarter, 9:27, Celtics 27-22: Bulls on a 5-0 run after the Celtics took a 10-point lead. The Celtics are going a little too fast and the Bulls are picking up the pace with their fastbreak. Taj Gibson delivered a two-handed stuff off a break, causing Doc Rivers to call timeout. Kevin Garnett returns to the game after a 10-minute rest.

End of first quarter, Celtics 24-15: The Celtics are leading despite shooting 42.9 percent from the field and getting 2 point from Kevin Garnett. Jeff Green is his aggressive self with 6 points in seven minutes while Brandon Bass has 6 points and seven rebounds, Carlos Boozer has 5 points for Chicago.

First quarter, 3:59, Celtics 18-9: The Celtics are on a 12-2 run, playing hard defense and getting a spark from Brandon Bass, who has 6 points and four rebounds. Jeff Green and Jason Collins were the first Celtics off the bench. The Celtics are shooting 47.1 percent (8 of 17) and are outrebounding the Bulls 9-5.

First quarter, 8:09, Bulls 7-6: Both teams look really rusty or tired, having missed 9 of 14 total shots, including two airballs. Carlos Boozer just completed a three-point play while the Celtics have three players with baskets. The Celtics have to avoid foul trouble with such a short bench.
