Final: Celtics 110-107: Stellar game for the Celtics, who end the road trip 2-3 with gutty win, handing Utah its seventh home loss of season. Paul Pierce finished with 26 points, 7 in overtime while Kevin Garnett finishes with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Overtime, 1.2, Celtics 110-107: Courtney Lee gets fouled and hits both free throws but he should have thrown the ball in the air, which would have ended the game.

Overtime, 4.2, Celtics 108-107: The Celtics don't let the Jazz attempt a 3-pointer, instead using their fouls. Paul Millsap hits both free throws. Celtics ball at halfcourt. Utah has a foul to give.

Overtime, 13.8 Celtics 108-105: The Celtics had a chance to seal the game but committed a shot clock violation that is now being reviewed. It looked like Kevin Garnett released the ball after the clock expired but the ball banked in. The call was upheld. Jazz ball.

Overtime, 1:18, Celtics 104-101: Paul Pierce has come back with 5 straight points after the Jazz took the lead on a Demarre Carroll jumper.

End of regulation, Tied at 97: Paul Pierce dribbles down the last 20 seconds and missed a contested fadeaway. Does that sound familiar? Overtime.

Fourth quarter, 19.9, Tied at 97: On a broken play, Alec Burks streaks to the basket for a contested layup. Celtics ball.

Fourth quarter, 36.6, Celtics 95-93: Paul Pierce just cans one of his stepback jumpers to put the Celtics ahead 2 and now he has 19 points but has missed seven 3-pointers. Jazz ball. Both teams out of fouls.

Fourth quarter, 2:46, Tied at 93: What a game, as the Celtics have been so close to taking a control but can't. They have gone 4:11 without a field goal but have stayed in the game at the free throw line. They just missed three shots on the same possession to extend the lead and then Al Jefferson comes back with a one-handed jumper to tie.

Fourth quarter, 5:45, Tied at 89: This is going down to the wire as the two teams are taking turns making runs. The Celtics responded from a 13-2 run to take an 87-85 lead on Paul Pierce's jumper. Moments later, Gordon Hayward hit two free throws to tie the game. Both teams are out of fouls and Brandon Bass is now at the line for two free throws.

Fourth quarter, 9:52, Celtics 82-81: The Jazz are on a 9-2 run to begin the quarter as the Celtics have become stagnant offensively and are allowing too many second-chance points from the Jazz. Gordon Hayward just hit the Jazz's eighth 3-pointer of the game in 12 tries, and, of course, it was wide open. Hayward, who drew the raves of Doc Rivers before the game, has 20 points off the bench.

End of third quarter, Celtics 80-72: An impressive quarter by the Celtics, who shot 13 of 22 from the field for 32 points, including 9 points from Courtney Lee and two key 3-pointers from Jason Terry. Five Celtics are in double figured, led by Avery Bradley with 18. Marvin Williams and Gordon Hayward have 15 for the Jazz while Paul Millsap has 12 but 4 since the first quarter.

Third quarter, 2:50, Celtics 70-67: The Celtics led by as many as 8 after a 17-2 run (matching Utah's first-half run) but the Jazz have responded with a three-point play from Derrick Favors and now Gordon Hayward just hit two free throws. Avery Bradley has 18 for the Celtics and Paul Pierce has 13.

Third quarter, 6:41, Celtics 63-60: It's been a physical game and the Celtics have taken full advantage by using tough defense to stymie the Jazz while going on a 10-0 run, sparked by two 3-pointers from Avery Bradley and two buckets from Courtney Lee.

Halftime, Jazz 53-48: The Celtics rallied to tie the game at 44 but continue to allow Utah to shoot open 3-pointers. The Jazz are 6-for-9 in the half and hit four in the second quarter. Marvin Williams scored the last 5 points in the half for the Jazz while Kevin Garnett is having one of those "old" nights with 3 points and 1 rebound in 12 minutes. Avery Bradley leads the Celtics with 12 points and Brandon Bass has 10.

Second quarter, 3:59, Jazz 44-41: The Celtics get closer with a 5-0 run, highlighted by a swooping dunk from Jeff Green, who has 6 points in 12 minutes. The key for the Celtics was getting consistent defensive stops. The Jazz have missed their past four shots and the Celtics are pushing the pace to get easier baskets.

Second quarter, 5:46, Jazz 44-36: Just like that the Jazz are up 8 points after an 17-2 run. The Celtics are shooting 3-for-10 in the quarter while the Jazz are led by Gordon Hayward's 13 points, 12 in the quarter.

Second quarter, 8:51, Tied at 34: Jazz are on a 7-0 run after the Celtics went on a 6-1 spurt to begin the quarter. The Celtics are being outrebounded 14-9 but the Jazz have stayed close by shooting uncontested 3-pointers. Gordon Hayward has 5 points off the bench for the Celtics.

End of first quarter, Celtics 28-26: Both teams are 11-for-21 shooting but the Celtics are 4-for-4 from the free throw line compared with 2-for-2 for Utah. The bench has given the Celtics a lift, scoring 7 points in their stint. Avery Bradley has 10 points for Boston while Brandon Bass has 8.

First quarter, 1:50, Jazz 24-22: Both teams got off to scorching offensive starts but the Celtics have cooled a bit as the starters have been replaced by reserves. Avery Bradley leads the Celtics with 10 points while Paull Millsap has 8 for Utah. Brandon Bass has 6 for the Celtics, who are already being outrebounded 9-4.

First quarter, 5:45, Jazz 16-15: Avery Bradley is off to a strong strong with 10 points on 5-for-5 shooting while Paul Millsap has scored 8 for Utah. Kevin Garnett is on the bench with one rebound and one foul. The Celtics are shooting 6-for-9 from the field while the Jazz are 7-for-10. Brandon Bass has to do a better job of defending Millsap.
