CHARLOTTE -- Well it's the day after. The day after the Celtics won their seventh consecutive game with a triple-overtime win over the Denver Nuggets, snapping their nine-game winning streak. Tonight's matchup with the 11-39 Bobcats counts just as much and Celtics coach Doc Rivers said he will play all of his players, despite the heavy minutes logged by Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry.

Pregame notes:

• The triple-overtime win over the Nuggets was the fourth time the Celtics played at least two overtimes, tying the franchise record set in the 1950-51 season.

• According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Celtics are the first time in NBA history to win six or more consecutive games, losing six in a row and then win at least six in a row.

• Paul Pierce played 54 minutes Sunday against Denver, tying a career high and became the oldest NBA player to ever record at least 20 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists. Larry Bird was three weeks younger than Pierce when he recorded his triple double in 1992.

• Since returning from a left ankle sprain, Charlotte forward Byron Mullens is averaging 15.7 points per game, including 20 points against the Los Angeles Lakers.

• The Celtics are fifth in the league in points allowed per game since Jan. 1 with 93.8 They were 17th through the season's first two months.
