MEMPHIS -- The Celtics may never get completely healthy for the playoffs with their post-Rajon Rondo roster. Just as Courtney Lee was declared out for Saturday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a sprained left ankle, Kevin Garnett was also a scratch with a sore foot.

Garnett was walking gingerly in his street clothes after Friday's 104-94 loss to the Dallas Mavericks, although he did not leave the game with any injury. The Celtics are being extra careful with Garnett and are expected to give him an examination when the club returns to Boston early Sunday morning.

Without Garnett, the Celtics will go extra small against one of the bigger teams in the league. Jason Terry is expected to start at shooting guard and Jeff Green at forward. Brandon Bass will have to defend Marc Gasol.
