All seemed well for the Celtics after they snapped a two-game losing streak with a win Wednesday over the Toronto Raptors but Doc Rivers delivered the news that center Kevin Garnett would miss Saturday's game with a strained adductor (thigh) muscle and it's uncertain if he will play Monday against Miami. Jeff Green will start in Garnett's place, leaving the Celtics extra small in the paint.

• Two of Charlotte's 14 wins have come against the Celtics and the Bobcats are 9-22 lifetime against Boston and have won three times at TD Garden.
• Gerald Henderson, the son of the former Celtic, scored a career-high 35 points in the previous meeting in Charlotte.
• Doc Rivers said he was concerned with Charlotte's size as Brandon Bass will have to defend Bismack Biyombo and Green will face off against Josh McRoberts.
