Courtney Lee laughed. He had scored in double figures for consecutive games for the first time in a month. He admitted he was finally starting to find a rhythm.
“It took all year to come, but I’m glad it’s here,” the Celtics guard said after pouring in a game-high and season-high tying 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting in Boston’s 120-88 win Saturday in Orlando.
Lee also scored 18 against Friday against the Heat – 13 coming in the fourth quarter.
“You see the ball go in a couple times, you get confidence, you get comfortable, especially how we’ve been playing,” Lee said, citing the last two Celtics games.
“The ball has been moving, we’ve been sharing and hitting open guys. It’s definitely fun to play this way and it definitely feels good to play this way.”
Lee is averaging 7.8 points per game this season.
