Ray Allen through the years

All-time record Allen passed Reggie Miller as the NBA's all-time leader in 3-pointers made on Thursday night. Jason Kidd is third on the list but is more than 800 threes behind (and a .348 shooter to Allen's .395 from long range). Allen is likely to play several more seasons in the NBA, and there really aren't any young, active players who are close to him. 'He is the best shooter in this league,' said Miller. 'And that's sad because there should be some young gun-slinger coming up saying, 'I'm going to shatter Ray Allen's record.' There's no one alive that's going to break his record.'
