Game 4, 1969 -- Sam's shot

With three seconds to go, Sam Jones (pictured, center) fires an off-balance shot over Wilt Chamberlain and watches the ball bounce once on the rim, hit the back of the rim and through the basket. The shot gives Boston an 89-88 victory and ties the series at 2-2. Laker guard Jerry West later summed up the events as simply, "the Lord's will."
