Sweet 17: A look back at each of the Celtics' titles

1973-1974
The 1973-74 Celtics, coached by Tommy Heinsohn, was truly a balanced team. On their way to a first-place finish, six Celtics averaged better than 10 points per game, and two grabbed at least 10 rebounds per game. Facing MVP Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and the Milwaukee Bucks in the Finals, Boston prevailed in seven games, with 33-year-old John Havlicek leading the way (27.1 ppg, 45.1 minutes/game).
