'Big Baby' was delivered to the Celtics via a draft-night trade that saw the Seattle SuperSonics ship Ray Allen and Davis (tabbed in the second round, 35th overall) to Boston in exchange for the No. 5 pick (Jeff Green), Delonte West, and Wally Szczerbiak. Davis, a 6-foot-9, 289-pound power forward, earned the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year honor during his junior campaign at LSU in 2006.
