Drafted by the Celtics in the second round (32d overall) of the 2007 draft, Pruitt provides good size (6 feet, 4 inches) at the point guard spot. He's also a solid 3-point shooter, who should ease the loss of Delonte West at the guard position.

Asked about joining the Celtics, Pruitt told the Globe: “It means a lot to me. There’s a lot of history here. I’m just happy to be here and be a part of the Celtic family."
