Troy Murphy
Remember when 6-11 forward Troy Murphy was the prize of the post-trade deadline buyout season? Murphy chose the Celtics over the Heat, and the Celtics were getting what they assumed was a big man who could spread the floor with his shooting. None of that materialized, and Murphy didn't sniff the court in the postseason besides three minutes of garbage time vs. the Knicks. After the season, Doc Rivers said Murphy just wasn't "ready" to play for the Celtics.
