A missed 8-foot putt at the British Open kept Tom Watson from becoming the oldest player to win one of golf's major championships. In the end, a playoff on the dramatic Ailsa course at the Turnberry Resort in Scotland was Watson's undoing, and even winner Steward Cink seemed saddened that Watson hadn't pulled it off. That bit of missed history wasn't the only news from the Ailsa course at Turnberry Resort, as Tiger Woods somehow missed the cut in a major for only the second time in his career. ( 25 photos total)
