Sauna, Solheim, cycling, and ...skiing?
If you've got the Sauna World Championships in Heinola, Finland, what else do you need? Nothing, really, but Big Shots has spanned the globe again to bring you the best sports pictures of the week. Poland hosted both an equestrian world cup and a summer ski jumping event, thankfully in separate venues. And then there's the Worthing International Birdman competition in Worthing, England, where both aeronautics and good taste are violated with equal glee. And for those of you tiring of the heat, New Zealand is hosting the Winter Games NZ on slippery slopes of southern hemisphere snow. Later this week I'll look at the 2009 IAAF Athletics World Championships in Berlin. ( 30 photos total)

... but seriously, what on Earth are the Sauna World Championships???
#1 : If you have ever been in a Finnish sauna, you will understand why its a competition :-) One day I've tried 80°Celsius, you can't stay 1 minute.
As usual beautiful pictures !
