Big Shots for January 12, 2010
This week Big Shots travels to Vladivostok for winter swimming and to Villars, Switzerland for mountain bike snow racing. Then we fall off a horse in Tokyo. I'm also looking forward to separate posts from the Argentina-Chile Dakar Rally and the African Cup of Nations football championship in Luanda, Angola. ( 32 photos total)

Cheeky monkeys Alexander Romanov (48) and Darcy Verot (right) of Vityaz Chekhov fight with Jaromir Jagr (left) and Timofei Shishkanov of Avangard Omsk during their Continental Hockey League match in Chekhov, Russia January 9. The bench clearing brawl resulted in 691 penalty minutes against more than 30 players. The game had to be suspended after less then four minutes tied at 0-0 because teams had not enough players to continue the match. (REUTERS/KHL/Handout) #

Sled hockey player Nikko Landeros (left) takes control of the puck as Tyler Carron covers during a scrimmage in the Boulder Valley YMCA in Lafayette Colo. Three years ago, high school wrestlers Landeros and Carron lost their legs when they were hit by a car while changing a flat tire. Landeros will compete in Vancouver in the Paralympics. Carron is on the junior national team. (AP Photo/David Zalubowski) #

Nice to see the club that I support (Arsenal) feature on the Big Shots! (pic 32) . It was snowing so badly that day there were fears that the game would be called off. Arsenal's game against Bolton three days prior to this had been called off due to snow/ice. We drew 2-2 against Everton .
Muy buenas fotos,los felicito
