2010 NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Celtics

The Los Angeles Lakers. The Boston Celtics. Together, they own half the titles in all of NBA history. And for the second time in three years, they met in the Finals. In 2008, the Celtics were an unstoppable force, but in 2010 they were older and slower. Meanwhile, the Lakers had gotten much better, adding Ron Artest to deal with Paul Pierce. And a tougher version of Pau Gasol showed up as well. It was all they needed to secure back-to-back titles and their 16th NBA crown. ( 32 photos total)

The Celtics played great. They could have easily won it. We were very fortunate to win but we won. So for any comments about you didn't have garnett last year, we didn't have bynum and ariza two years ago. I believe the biggest fear of boston fan is #17, which we are so close to now. I also believe we are closer to 17 than you are to 18. unless... boston puts together another back to back 49 and 58 loss seasons... mchale has no one else to trade to boston... one word boston... LOTTERY...

The Ref's handed the Lakers the Title.
Without a doubt, other than game 6, Boston was and is the better team.

The ref's did not make the calls in favor of Boston, (for some reason)?

The Celtics, fouls were even puzzling to some of the announers. They could not believe some of the calls against Boston. Yes, they played it back and saw the errors?

The Lakers can really pull the trigger on a CP3 deal or at least something with more bang than a Steve Blake pick up then they'll be in really great shape. i am trying to figure out the cheapest tickets and it looks like the parking ticket is the closest ill get to see the game. Anyway , The Lakers are on top for a reason.
