Singapore Youth Olympic Games

The Youth Olympic Games in Singapore drew teams from 204 countries for the 12-day event. The games, about a third the size of a regular Olympics, featured 14 - 18 year olds competing in 26 Olympic sports, including new twists on old favorites like three-on-three basketball. After a successful production, could a bid for the larger international quadrennial be in the future for the tiny island nation? ( 25 photos total)
