Rugby World Cup 2011
New Zealand was a selfish host as the All Blacks won the Rugby World Cup in their own land, beating France in a low-scoring but tense final. Passionate fans animated the proceedings throughout the tournament, which saw 20 teams vie for the Web Ellis Cup. New Zealand won its second World Cup, triumphing again after winning the first World Cup in 1987. ( 33 photos total)

Not a single shot of South Africa? The previous World Cup Champions?
In picture 23, the Argentine player is called Santiago Fernandez. You've got the name of another player. Very nice fotos BTW
Yeah! Seriously...not a single pic of South Africa? They were the previous world cup champs, they got into the quarterfinals, they're in the top 4 teams in the world and not a single picture? Yet you have pics of nude blacks and sheep? Even showing their devastation after being knocked out would have made killer pics...disappointed!
If the Eagles are EVER going to compete on the Big Stage we have got to figure out a way to fund and support the team on a continuing regular basis. We just can not continue to develop our national program at the club level.
#31 sums up rugby for me: gracious in victory. You wouldn't see this in football (soccer).
Congratulations to New Zealand, both for winning the Cup and their fantastic hosting of the tournament. Amazing to see a whole country behind one event. A truely wonderful experience that my children and l will never forget. Thank you very much for having us.
