Clint Eastwood continued his Super Bowl pitch for Chrysler and a few other products to NBC's "Saturday Night Live" this week. Well sort-of. Bill Hader did his best Harry Callahan/Walt Kowalski (complete with rising pants) in a series of three skits on the show mimicking Eastwood's "haltime in America" performance and the flack it caused. In the third ad, "Game Over America," none other than the New England Patriots were used by Eastwood (Hader) as a not-too-positive metaphor for the country's immigration policy. "While you were bitching about my commercial, we lost to Mexico by 30 points," Eastwood (Hader) says. "Remember how the Patriots let the Giants score the winning touchdown? We're doing that with Mexico on every single drive."

Tim Thomas had no comment.

Check out the first two ads here and here.

The real Clint Eastwood showed up during CBS's broadcast of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday and joined Jim Nantz and Nick Faldo in time for a light to blow out while on the set during his live appearance. Bill Belichick (who has a 16 handicap) played in the Pro-Am event with Ricky Barnes, who finished at -13. The pair finished at -33 in the Pro-Am, two shots back. Nantz noted during the telecast that Barnes (whose father Bruce was a punter for the Patriots in the 1970s) and his wife recently had a son, whom they named Brady. "So he's going from Belichick to Brady," Nantz said.

The Patriots were also not spared during Seth Meyers' Weekend Update report. Meyers, who grew up in Manchester, N.H., said President Obama tried to call the team after the game "but the call was dropped."

Ouch.

The show also did a solid rip-job on Piers Morgan and the Super Bowl halftime performance.
