Video: Tom Brady's All-Star Game appearance
David Ortiz wasn't the only Boston star to make an appearance in Tuesday's All-Star Game. Another big-time local sports celebrity made a cameo appearance as Patriots QB Tom Brady popped up in a new ad for the 2013 Dodge Dart.
In case you bailed out on the game with NL up 8-0 after four innings - here's the commercial that aired with the model's new "celebrity" endorser Brady, who was looking quite dapper. Be patient - or skip directly to the 1:14 mark.
Officials from the car company say Brady will be featured in more upcoming commercials for the Dart and other Dodge vehicles and said Brady was a good fit because he appeals to several demographic groups. Can't imagine many of those folks were still tuned into this mid-summer's night snoozer when Brady's spot aired.
The other early highlight of the night featured came in the form of this tweet featuring Charlie Sheen and Terry Francona. It has some epic "Write Your Own Caption" contest potential.
